What are Internet Games?

Internet games are those games that can be played online. These games make use of Internet technology to facilitate game play. The world of internet games is diverse like the technology players rely on. Furthermore, these games are rapidly evolving with the time. Mainly there are four types of internet games, available in the open virtual market:


1. Games passed on by emails.

2. Games which can be played instantly in a browser window by opening a Web address.

3. Text-based games played using IRC (Internet Relay Chat), Telnet, a MUD client,

4. Games played through Web-based forum, or similar to this.


Due to increasing demands, highly graphical video games have been developed in the virtual market that requires stand-alone software packages. They allow users to play against each other over an Internet connection. Examples of these games include Counter-Strike and World of Warcraft.


Online games are becoming hugely popular in today’s world. Some of the popular games include Magic Farm Game and Doggie Dash Game.
